The independent English-language authority on golf in Asia, edited in Singapore.
Who we are
AsiaGolfReview is an English-language golf publication covering Asia, edited in Singapore. We profile courses and resorts against published fact, review them from on-site play as our panel reaches them, publish rankings built on criteria anyone can read, and write practical golf travel guides for the region’s best destinations, with selected tournament coverage alongside. We are a new publication with an old-fashioned premise: play the course, say what we found, and never sell the verdict.
Why Asia needs a review of its own
Asia has more golfers than any other region and more than 6,000 courses, yet no independent English-language authority of its own. The global magazines cover Asia from a distance, one licensed edition at a time. The rankings with famous names rarely put reviewers on the ground here. And much of what ranks first in search is written by companies selling the very trips they describe. AsiaGolfReview exists to close that gap: facts checked against the clubs themselves, scores that follow published criteria, and travel advice that serves the golfer paying the green fee.
What we cover
Course Reviews is the heart of the site: course and resort profiles with a standardised fact file covering green fees, caddie details, seasons and booking, plus a scored AGR review once our panel has played the course.
Rankings carries the Asia Top 100, country Top 10s and Best New Courses, with the full methodology published.
Golf Travel covers destinations, itineraries, resorts and the practical craft of the golf trip.
The Game follows the tournaments and players that matter to Asian golf, briefly and selectively.
Gear & Style assesses equipment for the conditions the region actually plays in.
Golf Business serves the industry: development, management, people and data.
The Press Room publishes industry announcements in full, clearly labelled and kept apart from editorial.
Events & Awards brings together our roundtables, the industry calendar, and the awards we present with the Asia Awards Organisation.
Who reads us
Two audiences, one standard. The first is the travelling golfer, in Asia or coming to it, who plans real trips and wants honest answers before booking flights and tee times. The second is the industry itself: course owners and general managers, resort groups, tournament organisers, tourism boards, and equipment and apparel brands, reading to understand the market they compete in.
Our network
AsiaGolfReview is published by Asia Press Centre Group (APCG), a Singapore-headquartered media network of 12 English-language titles across business, travel, lifestyle, luxury, golf and technology. Our sister titles include GlobalTravelPost in travel and Global Chic Voyage in luxury travel, natural companions for the golf trip that is also a holiday. Our awards are presented with the Asia Awards Organisation, APCG’s awards body.
