Central Vietnam Golf Clubs Upgrade Dining, Events for Autumn
Montgomerie Links introduces a new dining venue, The 19th Coffee & Beer, while Ba Na Hills Golf Club refreshes its menu ahead of the IMG Trophy 2026.

Montgomerie Links Unveils New Dining Venue
Golf clubs across Central Vietnam are enhancing their culinary and event offerings this autumn, aiming to strengthen the region's appeal both on and off the course. Montgomerie Links is leading this initiative by preparing to open The 19th Coffee & Beer, a new dining destination. This refreshed venue provides a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the driving range and first tee.
The design combines contemporary aesthetics with both indoor seating and a spacious outdoor terrace. Its menu will blend contemporary Western dishes with authentic Vietnamese flavours, utilising locally sourced ingredients.
The 19th Coffee & Beer complements the existing Birdies Restaurant, which offers views of the 18th green, as Montgomerie Links continues to develop the overall experience surrounding its championship course. Le Vo Hoang Van, Club Manager at Montgomerie Links, stated that while golf remains central, the experience extends beyond the playing surface.
Ba Na Hills Golf Club Refreshes Menu, Hosts Tournament
Ba Na Hills Golf Club is also updating its culinary selections for September and October with a new clubhouse menu. This menu features a mix of Vietnamese and international favourites. Among the new signature dishes are beef short-rib phở, truffle creamy rigatoni with crispy chicken, Korean sundubu jjigae, and crispy Vietnamese pancakes.
Seasonal specials further reflect the diverse international visitors to Central Vietnam, offering dishes such as Phu Quoc-style bún quậy, Hoi An-inspired herbal tea, and Korean kimchi jjigae. For the autumn festival season, the club will offer mooncakes and Korean songpyeon.
Andrew McGregor, General Manager at Ba Na Hills Golf Club, noted that food has become a significant part of the golf experience in the region, aiming to reflect visitor diversity while maintaining a strong sense of Vietnamese place. This culinary activity coincides with a busy period on the course, as Ba Na Hills hosts the IMG Trophy 2026 on its Luke Donald-designed layout.
Central Vietnam's Expanding Culinary Reputation
Beyond the individual golf clubs, dining is becoming an increasingly compelling aspect of Central Vietnam's broader appeal. The city of Danang offers a vibrant dining scene, ranging from local seafood and street-food favourites to restaurants recognised by the MICHELIN Guide.
Nearby Hoi An remains a renowned culinary destination, celebrated for specialities like cao lầu and cơm gà. For visiting golfers, this combination of championship courses, beautiful beaches, luxury resorts, UNESCO-listed heritage sites, and an expanding culinary scene provides a compelling reason to plan visits to the region over the coming months.
Montgomerie Links Club Manager Le Vo Hoang Van added that Central Vietnam has always offered more than golf, with the quality and variety of dining adding another dimension to a rewarding destination.
Implications for Golf Travellers
These enhancements at Central Vietnam's golf clubs mean more varied post-round activities and dining choices for golfers planning trips to the region. Visitors to Montgomerie Links can now select between two distinct dining settings, while Ba Na Hills Golf Club offers a refreshed menu reflecting both local and international tastes.
The region's growing culinary reputation, alongside its established golf offerings, provides additional value for those considering a golf holiday in the area. This encourages longer stays and repeat visits, as travellers can combine their rounds with a diverse range of food experiences. Golfers should check club websites for specific menu details and any upcoming event schedules to maximise their visit.
