The new line-up blends traditional Japanese forging techniques with advanced AI-assisted design. These irons also incorporate shaping influenced by professional Tour feedback. The collection includes the ZXi7, ZXi5, ZXi5+, and ZXiU models.
Each iron is engineered to deliver a specific balance of feel, control, distance, and forgiveness on the course. A core element of these new models is i-FORGED, Srixon's latest advancement in iron metallurgy. This process uses condensed forging methods combined with carefully managed heat-softening procedures.
Engineers can thus strengthen high-stress regions of the clubhead while maintaining softer properties elsewhere. This approach aims to enhance durability without diminishing the soft impact sensation. This feel has become a hallmark of Srixon’s forged irons. All four models are forged by Endo Manufacturing in Japan.
AI Optimisation for Face Structure and Performance
Srixon has made extensive use of AI-assisted design across the new ZXi range. For the ZXi5, ZXi5+, and ZXiU models, MainFrame iQ technology is central to their design. This system employs thousands of simulated impact scenarios to refine the face structure. This optimisation reduces face mass by up to eight per cent.
