Srixon Unveils New ZXi RKT Woods Range

Srixon is set to introduce its new ZXi RKT Woods family, a comprehensively re-engineered line of metalwoods designed to enhance ball speed and deliver consistent performance for golfers. The collection includes ZXi RKT LS, ZXi RKT, and ZXi RKT MAX Drivers, alongside ZXi RKT Fairway Woods and Hybrids.

This launch, scheduled for 16 October 2026, represents a significant development for the brand, which states it rebuilt its design process from the ground up rather than merely evolving previous models. The focus was on gathering extensive player feedback and creating entirely new prototypes to maximise every possible performance advantage across the range.

Innovations for Ball Speed and Consistency

Central to the new ZXi RKT Woods is the RKT Face technology, a system developed to provide faster ball speeds and improved consistency. This innovation incorporates VR-Titanium, a proprietary alloy infused with silicon, which allows for increased flex across the driver face and body.

When combined with an enhanced i-FLEX face structure, this design aims to transfer energy more efficiently at impact, boosting speed across a broader area of the clubface. Furthermore, a new Variable Roll Design works to keep off-centre strikes online, while Rebound Frame technology employs two flex zones to further increase ball speed and overall distance.

Patrick Ripp, Srixon’s Tour Engineering Manager, noted that players consistently sought more speed across a larger face area without sacrificing consistency, a challenge the RKT Face was developed to address.

Refined Acoustics and Tour Validation

Beyond raw speed, Srixon engineers also prioritised the acoustic character of the new ZXi RKT Woods. The ACOUSTICORE chassis, featuring AI-optimised internal rib structures and a lightweight carbon fibre crown, was precisely tuned to produce a confidence-inspiring impact sound for each model.

This refinement involved advanced simulations and extensive testing to achieve a crisp, controlled sound. Over two years, Srixon’s research and development team engaged in prototype testing with Tour staff in competitive environments globally.

This collaboration directly influenced adjustments to face depth, crown height, address profiles, face angles, and lie angles, resulting in clubheads that offer both improved performance and a more confident appearance at address. A redesigned laser face milling pattern also contributes to better alignment and more consistent spin in varying conditions.

Distinct Driver Profiles and Full Pricing

The ZXi RKT Driver family offers three specific performance profiles to cater to different player needs. The ZXi RKT LS is designed for players seeking maximum distance and reduced spin, featuring a low-spin profile and adjustable front-to-back weighting.

The standard ZXi RKT model balances speed, forgiveness, and workability with adjustable heel-toe weighting for shot shape and trajectory control. The ZXi RKT MAX represents Srixon’s highest MOI driver, engineered for exceptional stability, confidence, and forgiveness within an athletic profile.

The ZXi RKT Fairway Woods and Hybrids also incorporate the RKT Face architecture and introduce an advanced adjustability system. This system allows golfers to fine-tune launch conditions, swing weight, and distance gapping using Adjustable Sole Weights and Adjustable Hosel Sleeves. Drivers are priced at $649.99, Fairway Woods at $379.99, and Hybrids at $329.99.
