The Montgomerie Design in Da Nang
Colin Montgomerie designed Montgomerie Links Vietnam, a links-style course situated along the Coastal Road in Da Nang. This design approach typically features firm, fast-running fairways, natural contours, and strategic bunkering, often influenced by coastal winds, aligning with its location on Vietnam's central coast. Da Nang has emerged as a notable golf destination in Southeast Asia, attracting players to its developing array of courses.
The club maintains a specific dress code, requiring shirts with a collar and tailored-style trousers or shorts. Notably, tidy designer jeans are permitted, alongside golf-specific jackets, jumpers, and hoodies. Conversely, items such as t-shirts without collars, brief shorts, tracksuits, and street shoes are not allowed. Golf shoes or sandals with soft spikes are mandatory.
