The Oregon-based brands, PAYNTR Golf and Forrester’s Outerwear, have expanded their collaboration with the FO Rainshedder RS2, a waterproof golf shoe priced at $240, available from 16 October 2026.
New All-Weather Footwear Released
Forrester’s Outerwear and PAYNTR Golf, both originating from Oregon, have announced an expansion of their joint collection with the introduction of the FO Rainshedder RS2 golf shoe. This new model builds upon their initial successful collaboration, focusing on delivering robust performance in varied weather conditions.
The FO Rainshedder RS2, designed to be fully waterproof, will be available for purchase starting on 16 October 2026. It carries a retail price of $240. The partnership reflects a shared dedication to quality and functionality, recognising the demands of playing golf when conditions are unpredictable, particularly in regions known for inclement weather.
Engineered for Performance and Conditions
The latest release from Forrester’s and PAYNTR Golf is engineered to function as a critical piece of equipment throughout the golf swing, rather than simply offering protection from the elements. Mike Forsey, Co-Founder and President of PAYNTR Golf, noted that the initial FO Rainshedder RS1 confirmed golfers seek products that combine serious performance with aesthetic appeal.
Matt Lemman, Principal Owner of Forrester’s Outerwear, added that the collaboration validates how Forrester’s legacy and PAYNTR Golf’s technical skills can create distinct products. The design draws inspiration from the Pacific Northwest, where varying weather has shaped the brands' practical approach to golf footwear.

The FO Rainshedder RS2 incorporates advanced material engineering and integrated protection systems to ensure uncompromising performance. It features a completely seam-sealed Clarino® premium microfiber upper, which reduces weight by 20% compared to traditional materials while maintaining durability and waterproofing.
An integrated knit bootie with a zippered shroud provides a secure, adaptive fit and enhanced waterproof defence in challenging playing conditions. The shoe also includes a RAINSHEDDER™ membrane and a precision-sealed gasket system, creating a waterproof yet breathable interior for comfort during extended wet rounds.
For stability and ground interaction, PAYNTR Golf’s 3D Traction System, featuring a propulsion plate, is combined with Softspikes® Tour Flex Pro replaceable cleats.
