Capital Corp Selects Programmed Turnpoint for Hunter Valley Golf

Lovedale Farm Development Progresses

Capital Corporation has appointed Programmed Turnpoint as the specialist contractor for an 18-hole championship golf course within its A$1 billion Lovedale Farm development in Australia's Hunter Valley, New South Wales. This golf facility will serve as the focal point of a 240-hectare residential, resort, and golf community, situated along Wine Country Drive.

Construction of the course is anticipated to conclude in late 2028, coinciding with the initial residential home deliveries. The developers have already secured sales for 85 percent of the first land release, indicating strong market interest in the integrated community concept.

Over half of the expansive 240-hectare site is designated for golf fairways, natural bushland, park areas, and water features, integrating the course into the broader environmental design of the property.

Programmed Turnpoint's Expertise and Leadership

Programmed Turnpoint brings extensive experience to the Lovedale Farm project, having constructed more than 17 golf courses across Australia and in international markets.

Their portfolio includes highly-regarded layouts such as Cape Wickham on King Island, Tasmania, which Golf Australia Magazine ranked second in its 2026 Top 100 courses list, and Magenta Shores on the New South Wales Central Coast.

The firm is also currently finalising the A$20 million golf destination, The Cliffs, on Kangaroo Island in South Australia, scheduled to open this year. Justin Trott, President of the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects, will lead the Lovedale Farm project.

Trott joined Turnpoint in 2011 after 16 years as a Design Associate with Thomson Wolveridge & Perrett, contributing to projects including Moonah Links and The National Golf Club.

Lovedale Farm is designed as a dual-purpose community, serving both as a residential address and a tourism destination within the Hunter Valley. Upon completion, the development will feature 500 residential lots, a 300-key resort complete with a day spa, and a new dining precinct.

A 1,200-square-metre clubhouse, designed by H&E Architects, will be positioned adjacent to the golf course. This facility is intended to function as the central social hub for residents, golf club members, and visiting guests. Prospective buyers can acquire residential land at Lovedale Farm, with prices commencing at A$667,800 for a 504-square-metre block.
